(1) FILM SUBMISSIONS:

Please contact mo@mofest.com for lm submissions. Guidelines are below:

- Films MUST be submitted on DVD-R (not +R or +RW) for highest clarity, and when I say DVD, I mean the cleanest, crispest image and sound, no pixelation or fragmenting, "tested-and-works-in-any-stand-alone-DVD-player" DVD!!

- If this fails, a high-quality mini-DV tape will be accepted.

- Films include shorts, music vids, experimental, docs, specs, spots, and any other curious recordings. Any and all genres will be gladly and proudly accepted.

- Films collected will be screened and placed in an order per the discretion of Mo, the Festival Director. This is not a quality or popularity issue, but is intended to control the pacing and overall vibe of the fest.

- Please keep in mind the longer the lm is, the less chance it has at being played at MoFest. (under 8 minutes is a good benchmark) Again, this is not a quality issue by any means but from past experience the fest has to keep a certain pace or the audience gets violent! Exceptions will be made at the discretion of the festival director.

- Longer submissions not to worry. A longer format MoFest in an actual theater in the spring is a distinct possibility!

(2) ART SUBMISSIONS:

Please contact Sharon Lomasney, Art Gallery Director, at sharonlomasney@mac.com for submissions. Guidelines are below:

- Contributed art should be organized and delivered in a fashion that is ready for display. Arrangements must be made, and consent of the Art Gallery Director obtained, 2 weeks in advance of the show, for artwork that needs to be arranged or rerigged for display.

- Art should be delivered to the venue the day before the fest and picked up on the strike day which will be either Sunday or Monday (day and time TBD). Please contact Sharon for other arrangements.

- If you are unable to deliver personally, our truck can pick-up and drop-o- within the city. Please note that while we will take care of the artwork to the best of our ability and that the party is a controlled environment, MoFest nor its volunteers will not be held accountable for any damages or loss to the pieces during delivery or during the event. Thank you for your consideration.

- We will have some hardware options with which to display your artwork but if you want to bring your own hardware you are more than welcome to. The venue has a combination of drywall and rafters on which to hang artwork, and ladders and some tools and hardware will be provided.
